Countdown to reality

I think it will always be a bitter sweet moment when you loose a VERY GOOD friend but just like those butterflies, you can't hold on to something that need to fly free in a jar. All good things must come to an end.

Today one of my good friends packed up and headed with his family overseas. I was so sad but I didn't cry because I knew that once the tears came out, the end was near.

Somehow I don't believe high school is over. It was such a bitter sweet memory for me. 5 years devoted to a place which groomed me and made me who I am today. I can thank SAB for that. And also for giving me an opportunity to meet some AMAZING people :)

But with my friend heading for the big water out there called "REAL LIFE", I started to remember that come 22nd March 2012 the SPM results will be out.

I really wanna do well and make my family and race proud. It should be a happy day not a sad one but either way it will be because once the results are out, people I know and love will go their own ways.

I think middle school wasn't so much a heart break because we weren't really grown up then. I bet college will be harder to say goodbye to. I guess we'll come to that challenge as it comes.

For now I should enjoy the moments I have I guess. But how to do that when everyone is busy with work and studies and what not.

Time will tell who stay in my life till I get married and who will leave.

A New Year (2012)

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE !

I know its a bit late but its not THAT late.

Page 6 of 366 and I havent done much that says "Live Life To The Fullest" yet although that has been the theme of my life for the past few days.

Today I think I scared myself to the point where there will always be a sense of fear in me.

There was a show on The National Geography Channel today called

2012 - THE APOCALYPSE

My curiosity

took over and I watched it over a cold bowl of cereal for lunch.

The graphics were from 2012 the movie and scientists were talking about all the things that could happen during 2012 and why there is a possibility that The Mayans got it right. We are all doomed.

I was so freaked out cause they said that the following things have been predicted to happen anytime this year or the next :

a) The Super volcano in Yellowstone, USA (an active volcano which erupts every 6000 - 8000 years) will erupt and if that happens the Earths crust will crack, earth quakes, tsunamis etc. Also the ash from the eruption will be so powerful it could block the suns rays, plants would die.

b) The sun will sorta have this small eruption, it'll emit something called "solar flares", large bursts of energy. The sun is 90 million miles/ lightyears from the Earth but these flares can reach the earth within minutes and kill us all. The cycles on which the sun emits this flare is predicted in Dec 2012

c) Tsunami's caused by Earth quakes in the ocean bed

d) A huge planet almost as big as Earth called Planet X collide with the earth at a high velocity

And the list goes on...

Unfortunately, I slept half way through the show or should I say FORTUNATELY if not I could probably list more and more stuff here.

I hated the movie 2012. No offence to the moviemakers but of course there was a "happy ending"

The main character and his family survived, SOME people survived and the rest perished.

I don't think I'll be able to make it to the ship if there even is one.

One things for sure, if 2012 is the Apocalypse, it'll come without warning and no human can do anything to stop it.

makes me so sad. I mean, what killed the dinasaurs ? Could that be the same thing that'll end up killing human beings.

Lets face it, were killing the world with pollution and stuff.

These days the weather is super hot and I was sweating throughout the day.

Can't we all just take care of our planet. Seriously our ancestors the cavemen who didnt have I phones ,blackberries, airconds and cars did a better job.

I hope this year will not live up to "The Year ManKind Died"

i have so many things not done and so many things I want to do with my life.

I want to grow up, be successful, go back to my roots, live to see my children grow up and my brothers live life, bungee jump, rock climbing, lose weight, pierce my ears, finish my piano lessons, go to college, help people, climb a mountain, visit NYC, visit Egypt and the pyramids.........................etc etc etc

Please don't end. Not yet.

Lets just all pray to God. We can be of different religions, and not believe in each others but faith is the only thing we have in times of trouble if not for that , we will probably feel so alone in this world.

Lets pray it'll be a good year and end on a good note.

God help us all

Yes once again I have managed to programme my body to sleeping at the late hours of the day.

I know that sleep is really important but somehow I'm scared to fall asleep.

I hate having a dream about something, or SOMEONE and then wake up and realize

"OF COURSE ! How could that be real ? Too good to be true"

It just ruins my whole day.

I had an interesting dream the other night. I know it was interesting mainly because when I woke up the first thing I did was smile.

But I can't seem to remember what it was about, who was in it and where I was.

If only dreams could be recorded, then I'd be able to relive those moments.

But then again when I think about it who want's to relive those dreams anyway.

The way I see it, if its worth remembering, I should be able to remember it.

Dreams make us who we are, they define us, shape us and are pretty darn helpful for writing essays.

I lost a doll once. My favorite doll. I loved that doll with all my heart. It wasnt some Barbie doll.

It was soft, and cuddly, its hair made of brown wool and its eyes dainty little buttons.

When I lost it, my whole world ended. I was cranky, cried a lot and never failed to throw stuff out to search for it.

It was on my mind all day, and I lost a lot of sleep to it every night.

One night I had a dream. I remember this dream because of the events that followed.

I was searching for my doll and I heard a cry, a faint little cry coming from inside a box in my room. I ran to it, opened it and in there was my doll smiling at me.

The dream was so vivid it felt real but to my dissapointment i woke up and there I was in my bed - doll-less.

I had an urge to go and check in that box just to make sure but my doll wasnt in there.

It only gave me hope and I searched the whole day without rest. I didn't find it. I cried myself to sleep knowing my dolly was gone forever.

And I had the same dream. I woke up suddenly and ran towards my bookshelf and moved it to look behind it. And there she was, a little dusty, a little dirty but my dolly.

So you see, dreams are important and I owe it to a dream to keep my imagination alive and make me live in the now for all I am worth.

A dream is the stepping stone to reality they say.

I believe them and so does dolly :)

Wow, I can practically see the dust on this thing.

Life has taken a 360 degree turn for me in a good way and in a bad way.

I'M IN FORM 5 NOW ! So don't expect too many updates from me this is an important year after all.

Time can't seem to pass FAST enough.

I'm waiting for school to start and yet it hasn't and its taking FOREVER.

I want to wake up every morning with a bad mood, lug my school books to school, fight battles to keep my eyes open during classes, complain about the heat and the canteen food, sit on the lab chairs which hurt my ass AND YOU KNOW WHY ?

Because seeing everyone again will make it all bearable :)

Today I OFFICIALLY finished with the pages on my old diary and have started A NEW ONE :)

I love keeping a diary. Somehow typing things on a blog for EVERYONE to see isn't considered my PERFECT DIARY.

A blog is for random words, statements, pictures, FACTS :) Twitter is for RANDOM CRAP :P But MY DIARY is for secrets :P

I love writing the first page of a diary. Everyone does it differently. Mine has pictures and quotes on the first page for INSPIRATION ♥♥

Today I also CLEANED MY ENTIRE ROOM !

Well its the holidays and this is what I've been upto :)

I HAVE BEEN SOOO BORED LET ME TELL YOU!
I AM DYING!
For the first few days it was fun, not waking up SO EARLY and LUGGING HUGE BOOKS to school and NO HOMEWORK ! :) ♥ HEAVEN !

Since we can't go for holidays this year since my brother has a VERY IMPORTANT exam, I am making my own fun activities without leaving my house.

Exercise by dancing. I put my headphones on and blast the music and let loose all in the comfort of my room :)

EXPLORE BEAUTY

If your like me and have A LOT to learn about beauty and health care now is the time to START. I went online and searched for BEAUTY TIPS AND TRICKS. So I am experimenting with my nails, hair, body, face, makeup, clothes :) ITS CRAZAYY AND SO FUN :) It actually leads to shopping and makeovers :)

ARTS AND CRAFT

This is the time to make HAND MADE birthday presents, art projects and go all out. Maybe even take up a class. You can study fashion, writing, poetry, sewing or maybe the basic ART :)

VOLUNTEER

Do some volunteer work at shelters or NGO's to help people that need it. You not only GET PAID but help people too :)
